OCIA (Adult Formation)

The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process for adults to prepare to be full, active members of the Roman Catholic Church.

Educational discussions are held in the Education Building to the east of the church, from 9:00-10:15 am on Sundays.

Classes begin at the beginning of Lent and continue until Easter of the next year. Presenters include Father Joseph Minuth, a Lay Ecclesial Minister, leaders of the Bible Study Group at Holy Family, and other parishioners. As the process continues, OCIA participants are dismissed for part of the Mass to study the readings from that Mass in order to understand them and apply them to their personal lives.

Our OCIA group participates in all parish activities, visits Catholic Community Services, and attends all Diocesan OCIA events. For more information, please contact us.
